So I've been writing a bit today, cleaning and playing with Connor. It was a lovely friday and i am looking forward to a long relaxing weekend filled with scary movies and hopefully a few good books. (i bought 'smack' and another book but i cant remember right this second).
I was editing and i noticed something that i have done in my last three novels--i tend to make my main charecter's friends turn out to be not such great friends, they are always her girl/friends that usually turn their backs on her, discurage her, put her down, or altogether leave her as a friend. It makes me wonder if maybe its something subconcious i'm doing. Past friendships have diminished for reasons that were very trivial, and yet i still put the personality of past friends onto my Main charecters friends--which is obviously the reason their friendships diminish over the pages. I'd like to once write a good story with a good friendship intact.
Although, in my novel "Love Story", she did make a new girl-friend that turned out to be a sister to her. SO i guess not all the friendships failed for my mc, which is lovely.
But i digress because that was really just my thoughts rambling outloud.
I plan on watching "The Howling 2--your sister is a werewolf' in about five minutes. The name is the only reason i havent seen it--it sounds....stupid. But i'm a sucker for a werewolf movie, and maybe through-out the cheesyness it wont be so bad.
**Okay, i am editing this blog for this reason--i just started the howling 2 and had to stop about five minutes in, because a girl randomly said "He said...your sister is a werewolf!" and then suddenly there was a lady howling in an empty crumbling parking lot. I am all for b-rated awful movies, but this was like...z rated.
and have i mentioned how much i love AW lately? or how i spend too much time there? Cos I do.
Music--down in mexico--grindhouse soundtrack (I'd dance around my kitchen if i wasnt worried about my neighbors that watch every move we make, lol)
Movie--no longer howling 2, now Alpha dog (which i watch at least four times a month)
Book--none
writing--monsters in the woods, editing, page 213, 48 more pages to go. then on to edit#2.
